“Norwegians are concerned about human rights violations; those that happen far away from here, where those responsible are people we do not know. Amnesty Norway is shocked when the Prime Minister refuses to compound and address the Human Rights violations in China when she is there for political reasons. What is it that makes us Norwegians, Amnesty included, so ignorant to our history that we honestly believe crimes against our own people do not occur here at home?”
